A Pink Cause For A Colorful Future

According to the Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, African American women have a 31% breast cancer mortality rate – the highest of any U.S. racial or ethnic group. Among women younger than 45, breast cancer incidence is higher among African American women than white women. These statistics are shocking, and we believe that more people whould be aware of them.

The Pink Queen B Foundation, founded by breast cancer survivor, Monique Woodlon-Blue, is centered on sisterhood and camaraderie for African-American women healing and fighting breast cancer. When Monique learned of her diagnosis in 2018, she understood how important it is to have a representative support system because she did not have one. The Pink Queen B Foundation’s mission is to help bring awareness to breast cancer’s impact on the African-American community and support women in the fight.

Our agency at Phoenix Insurance Firm is extremely inspired by this organization’s efforts and success in bringing support to those needing it. For this same reason, we have decided to partner with them and fight for those in need.

So, we’re now advocating and directing monetary rewards to this very cause. We hope to touch many lives – and you can help. When you recommend someone to us for a quote, we offer to donate $10 on your behalf! So, how many names can you give us?
